My Project EV app is showing my charger as “Preparing”

Answer: 

Press “Start” on the app or use RFID card to start a charging session. If the charger does not start or is in Plug and Charge mode, please check your car has no scheduled charges set.

    Under the photo of the vehicle there is the charge button as the on/off symbol.

    I have the same problem as Tom. I press the start button on the app and does not respond. I get the AC/Preparing icon and does not respond.

  • I have the same problem. If you have it set on app control and plug the cable in and turn on, but don't plug into the car, if you unplug the cable it goes into preparing mode. To get out, go onto app, go into settings and charger settings, change method of control to plug and charge, then back again to app , it will reset unit ready to charge again.
