Step 1: Check the LAN Cable Connection

Make sure the charger is physically connected to your network:

  • The LAN cable must be plugged into the internal network port
  • It should click securely into the main PCB (internal circuit board)
  • This is located behind the arc shield inside the charger

⚠️ Only access internal components if you are qualified or with an installer present.

Step 2: Choose a Setup Method

You can configure the network in two ways:

  • Option A: Using a laptop (Please see the HOW TO: Set a charger up with a laptop guide)
  • Option B: Using the charger’s touch screen

Step 3: Option B – Touch Screen Setup

On the charger screen:

  1. Tap Management
  2. Select Network Parameters
  3. Enter the password: 1234
  4. Enter your network details

Step 4: Enter Network Details

You’ll need the following:

  • IP address
  • Subnet mask
  • Gateway
  • DNS

These must match your local network settings.

If unsure, contact:

  • Your IT provider
  • Network administrator
  • Or check your router settings

Step 5: Confirm Connection

Once configured:

  • The charger should connect to your network
  • It should then communicate with the platform/app
