Step 1: Check the LAN Cable Connection
Make sure the charger is physically connected to your network:
- The LAN cable must be plugged into the internal network port
- It should click securely into the main PCB (internal circuit board)
- This is located behind the arc shield inside the charger
⚠️ Only access internal components if you are qualified or with an installer present.
Step 2: Choose a Setup Method
You can configure the network in two ways:
- Option A: Using a laptop (Please see the HOW TO: Set a charger up with a laptop guide)
- Option B: Using the charger’s touch screen
Step 3: Option B – Touch Screen Setup
On the charger screen:
- Tap Management
- Select Network Parameters
- Enter the password: 1234
- Enter your network details
Step 4: Enter Network Details
You’ll need the following:
- IP address
- Subnet mask
- Gateway
- DNS
These must match your local network settings.
If unsure, contact:
- Your IT provider
- Network administrator
- Or check your router settings
Step 5: Confirm Connection
Once configured:
- The charger should connect to your network
- It should then communicate with the platform/app
