We'll walk you through how to set up 4G connectivity on your EV charger using the charger's touch screen, including APN configuration and connection checks

Set Up 4G Connectivity on Your Charger

Follow these steps to connect your charger to the 4G network.

Step 1: Check if the 4G Kit is Installed

Before starting, confirm that the 4G kit is installed in the charger.

  • If not installed:
Install the 4G kit first. Network setup cannot continue without it.
  • If already installed:
    Continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Open Network Settings

On the charger screen:

  1. Tap Management
  2. Select Network Parameters

Step 3: Enter the Password

When prompted, enter the password:

1234

Step 4: Enter the Password (Based on Screen Type)

Your charger may have one of two screen styles:

Blue screen (with keyboard):

  • Tap the password field
  • Enter 1234 using the keyboard
  • Confirm

White screen (with keypad):

  • Enter 1234 directly when prompted

Step 5: Configure the APN

  1. Find the 4G APN field
  2. Enter:
    iot.1nce.net
  3. Tap Set to save

Step 6: Check Connection Status

Look at the top-right corner of the screen.

You should see:

  • A 4G signal icon
  • A server connection icon

If both icons are visible, your charger is successfully connected.

Step 7: Troubleshooting

If the icons do not appear:

  1. Turn off the charger at the mains power
  2. Wait a few seconds
  3. Turn it back on

After restarting, check the icons again.
