We'll walk you through how to adjust the maximum output power limit on your DC EV charger via the charger's touch screen
Follow these steps to adjust the maximum charging power of your DC charger.
Step 1: Open Protection Settings
On the charger screen:
- Tap Management
- Select Protection Parameters
Step 2: Enter the Password
When prompted, enter:
1234
Step 3: Enter Password (Based on Screen Type)
Your charger may have one of two screen styles:
Blue screen (with keyboard):
- Tap the password field
- Enter 1234 using the keyboard
- Confirm
White screen (with keypad):
- Enter 1234 directly when prompted
Step 4: Set the DC Output Limit
- Find DC Output Limit
- Select it and enter your desired kW value
- Tap Set to save
Important:
Do not exceed the charger’s maximum capacity.
For example, a 40kW charger cannot be set to 60kW.
Step 5: Confirm the Change
Once saved:
- The charger will now limit its output to your selected value
- Charging sessions will not exceed this limit
Step 6: Test the Setting
Start a charging session to confirm the new limit is working correctly.
